Thursday, April 20, 2006 - Jamestown, NY - Bush Industries will unveil a complete assortment of video and PC-base gaming furniture, as well as feature its unique Montclair video base with a remote-controlled lift and its innovative E-Zone product and merchandising program, at its new space for the Spring Market in High Point.
Bush will showcase several new multi-functional video bases, including its Hide-Away Gaming Station with a pullout return that can house gaming equipment, DVDs and CDs while accommodating up to a 32"conventional TV or a 42" flat panel TV. "Based upon several research studies we have conducted, we know that gaming has become an important part of the entertainment lifestyle of our consumers; as always, Bush is addressing the need to have furniture enhance the experience," said Jim Schmidt II, vice president of marketing and merchandising. "We are pleased to be the first furniture company to market with product that suits these lifestyle changes because they adapt to accommodate the latest technology in both console and PC-based gaming." The Montclair Video Base, which accommodates flat panel TVs up to 50", has a remote-controlled lift that raises the TV out of the cabinet for viewing and lowers it into the cabinet when not in use. Also shown at Market will be two similar units: the Traditional Collection Video Base with Lift is offered in Montgomery Cherry finish, and the Mission Collection Video Base with Lift comes in Medium Cherry Veneer finish. This superior styling and innovative technology - available at retail ranging from $1,499 to $1,999 - makes these Bush products a must- see. "Bush is continuing its effort to incorporate the latest in consumer electronics while designing attractive furniture at the same time," said Mark Phanco, senior vice president of sales.
